N.B.: removed from the synonymy of Troxochrus Simon, 1884; considered a senior synonym of Scleroschema Hull, 1911 by Denis, 1948a: 24, but the type species of that genus was placed by Denis, 1942a: 84 in Silometopus; Wunderlich's (1970: 407) synonymy of this genus with Diplocephalus Bertkau, 1883 has not been accepted by later authors.
