N.B.: Dunstanoides Forster & Wilton, in Platnick, 1989b: 409, replacement name for Dunstania Forster & Wilton, 1973: 181, type Dunstania hesperis Forster & Wilton, 1973, preoccupied by Tillyard, 1916 in fossil Heteroptera; treated as feminine in former versions of the WSC, but as no gender was stated in Platnick, 1989b it is masculine per ICZN Article 30.1.4.4. Transferred from Amphinectidae to Desidae by Wheeler et al., 2017: 606 - not explicitely but together with the whole family. Transfer to Amaurobiidae (Murphy & Roberts, 2015: viii) not sufficiently justified and is not accepted here.
