Genus comment: H. Forster, 1964b: 80, type Gohia antarctica Berland, 1931; described in the Agelenidae, transferred to the Desinae by Lehtinen, 1967: 239, here by Forster & Wilton, 1973: 159. N.B.: Transfer to Cicurinidae (Murphy & Roberts, 2015: viii) not sufficiently justified and is not accepted here. Transferred from Amphinectidae to Desidae by Wheeler et al., 2017: 606 - not explicitely but together with the whole family.
