N.B.: transferred from the Pisauridae by Carico, 1993b: 231, who considered this name to be a junior synonym of Porrimosa Roewer, 1960d: 1001, type Porrima harknessi Chamberlin, 1916, but it has priority over that name; Porrimosa was considered a junior synonym of, and the earliest available name to replace, Porrima Simon, 1898, preoccupied (considered a pisaurid by Lehtinen, 1967: 260), by Capocasale, 1982: 148; the type species of Porrima, P. diversa (O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1877), and of Porrimula Roewer, 1960d: 1005, Porrima callipoda Mello-Leitão, 1934, which was also considered a junior synonym of Porrima by Capocasale, 1982: 148 (contra Bücherl & Lucas, 1969: 267, who considered that species to be a juvenile Tetragonophthalma), were both regarded by Capocasale as nomina dubia.
