Genus comment: C. Komatsu, 1942b: 60, type C. floronoides Komatsu, 1942; described in the Linyphiidae, usually considered a junior synonym of Nesticus Thorell, 1870, but revalidated by Lehtinen & Saaristo, 1980: 51, who attributed to it most of the Far Eastern Nesticus and considered it a senior synonym of Sunitorypha Komatsu, 1960: 9, type S. linyphoides Komatsu, 1960 (considered a junior synonym of Nesticus by Levi & Levi, 1962: 29). As no Far Eastern species were examined by Lehtinen & Saaristo, all species other than the two type species involved are provisionally retained in Nesticus. Edit history
