N.B.: Considered a senior synonym of Menosira Chikuni, 1955 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:01384], type (by monotypy) Menosira ornata Chikuni, 1955, by Kallal & Hormiga, 2018: 415. Wunderlich's synonymy of this group with Meta C. L. Koch, 1836 has not been followed by subsequent workers. Re-synonymization with Meta by Murphy & Roberts, 2015: ix was not sufficiently justified and the current status is confirmed by Kallal & Hormiga, 2018.
