Pickard-Cambridge, 1904 (Griswold, 1987b: 505). Re-synonymization of Asagena (Murphy & Roberts, 2015: viii) not sufficiently justified and is not accepted here; Breitling, 2019b: 26 discusses Asagena and Crustulina might be subgenera of Steatoda (based mainly on COI, see FAQ 7).
