  • It is widely assumend that most of the type material from Simon can be found in the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris, France
  • Syntype: Museu Nacional, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (MNRJ), Brazil (database excerpt, August 2019); Selenops fraternus Mello-Leitão, 1915, (01386); 1 m 1 f (probably destroyed by the fire 2018)
